Arena Survival Guide

Arena can be a tricky thing to stay on top of. Taking time and strategy. Here's some tip on making the most out of it.

  1. PARTICIPATE, sure your 6 greens with 6 whites have no hope of winning but there is always that random chance of winning something.
  2. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP, take a few seconds to view MATCH RECORDS of your next victim, you'll see his formation, and whether he randomizes. Take advantage of this. I actually keep a spreadsheet for faster look-ups.
  3. VARIETY, with your attacks and defense will confuse people who look up match records. Don't forget to check the RANDOMIZE box on your defense. Change up your setup once a day. Keep them guessing
  4. LAST MINUTE RUSH, if you are after getting in the top 50, and are not strong enough to be in the top 10, go for a last minute rush. This prevents you from climbing up beyond your team's strength, and getting the living daylights kicked out of you. Also you will get to use as much of your vitality for attacks of your choosing, rather than your vitality being sucked up while you are not playing.
  5. FIRST IMPRESSIONS LAST, if you plan to climb to top 10 start arena as soon as you can, you will be able to attack players that you will never see again. I've seen as much as a 6000 point first day buffer.Just remember if you are up there. You're name is on everyone's bullet. Poke everyone often!
  6. SCRAPE THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL, when you do get in the top 20, the best source for points is cycling number 18-19-20. If you drop them down to below 20, number 21 pops up ready for you to poke. Repeat til it jams, then start massaging the people that you can win against.
  7. GEAR UP, do not be swayed by confidence gear, they are practically useless in the arena, go for execution and management gear. Upgrade them whenever you can.
  8. DO NOT SLEEP, if you get attacked once, you can bet your allowance you will be attacked again with the same formation. Set up a defense quick to match his attack.
